The Syndera Operational Business Intelligence Suite addresses the need for immediate action on business events. With Syndera, decision makers can easily monitor and analyze key performance indicators, analyze and identify the root cause of problems, discover opportunities, and take action.

 

Product comprises of self-service dashboards that provide real-time, end-to-end visibility of automated processes; a high-performance event correlation and analytics engine that continuously collects events and computes real-time metrics, real-time alerts, key performance indicators (KPIs), and historical trends; and an intuitive design environment that allows organizations to model their exact business requirements within an ontology-based repository.

Challenges

Business Content Repository: Allows users to define models across multiple domains, including events, data, process, organization and infrastructure, in order to deliver context-specific, actionable intelligence to LOB, Operations and IT users.

Event Correlation Engine: Continuously tracks events. Collects filters and transforms content to Real-time Analytics Server

Real-time Analytics Server: Pushes intelligence to users in the form of metrics and alerts

Actionable Dashboard: Gives users dynamic, customizable, Flash-based dashboards containing key metrics that can be edited and then displayed in desktop or portal environments

Achievements

We are part of the core development team for this product. Have contributed lot of features over last few years. Some of the important components developed are Drilldown, Service management framework, Service console, Asset Viewer, Insight, Presentation Server, Eclipse based modeling tool as Architect. Unit Test framework using JUnit to test the full or part of the system. We have ramped up/ramped down our team based on customer needs.
