Product is designed specifically for the Test Lab environment and for managing projects and test plans through the product lifecycle. It handles work requests, test equipment, personnel, and equipment under test, test methods and test sequences.

Product provides managers, engineers and technicians with real-time visibility even into test labs dispersed around the world. It has a significant impact on the time it takes to get new products to market.

Challenges

1. Database used in project is metadata based.
2. No proper documentation is available to understand the application at low level.

Achievements

In spite of complex structure, and not having complete details of database design/schema, we have significantly improved the performance of few management reports in a very short period of time.

Successfully understood database design/schema by self study of application and database in short period of time without proper documentation.
