Project/Product Description

The Project involved the development of Generic External components, which were utilized by the specific Workflow Process. The components include EmailProcessInstantiator and XMLB2BProcessInstantiator.

These components were purely generic and trigger the Workflow instances based on the data gathered through Emails containing information about the Vendor license as MS Excel attachments. The other mode of input for triggering the instantiation of Workflow was the xmls.

Technologies

J2EE utilizing the concepts of JMS,POI API, XMLBeans API, Quartz API and HTML Parsing APIs, Spring Framework, Hibernate, SBM 6.5 SP2 with Pramati as web server and Oracle 9i as Database Backend.

Challenges

The major challenge was to develop generic components which client can utilize in other Product also. Also the project was to be built under strict timelines.
